David began playing the guitar at age 13 and was singing and writing for friends and family soon after. David’s passion for performance led him to the University of Victoria’s Phoenix theatre, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre. This included acting and touring on the Fringe Festival Circuit in the self-penned play "Inside- Out." After releasing his Debut solo album in 2006, Never Meant to Know, David spent time touring BC and Alberta. David spent the fall of 2007 in Ghana, West Africa studying traditional drumming, song and dance under the tutelage of the Kusun Ensemble.
