Sweetness Everywhere has the sentimentality and gentleness of early, to mid, period ballads from Michael Jackson, bringing to mind Ben or She’s out of my Life. It speaks of an endless love for someone, no matter the change in circumstance.

The title comes from a line Ward read in Leonard Cohen’s last interview before he passed. Cohen used it to describe his muse, Marianne Ihlen, famous for inspiring songs like Bird on the Wire, Hey, That’s No Way to Say Goodbye, and, So Long, Marianne.

“The line is perfect to me - simple, direct and perfect.”

Watch Ward's website for a new single every second Friday of the month. Next single: July 13th.
